kms from Dargaville you will find Baylys Beach Holiday Park situated on
the fabulous Ripiro Beach extending
100 km from Maunganui Bluff in the north and Pouto Point at the
entrance to the Kaipara Harbour in the south. It is the longest
driveable beach in New Zealand.
Here is where one stays when on the West Coast of this
region.
For visitors it is recommended to take a tour to the remote Pouto
Lighthouse and view the site of 150 shipwrecks.
They have a lodge, seaside cottages, tourist flats, cabins and ensuite
cabins. For us campervanners there are 58 sites and for those with a
tent they have the choice of 150 sites to use.
A not to be missed site on the west coast of the North Island.
