Only 15 minutes south of Kaikoura is one of the most unique holiday park systems in New Zealand where the Kaikoura Coastal Campgrounds are actually four parks along the most beautiful rugged coastlines in New Zealand.
Three years ago John and Liz Mahony, looking for an opportunity to escape Christchurch and settle in the Kaikoura region, took over these premises. They have been coming to the region since children and are totally a part of this natural world. The office is at the main park area at Goose Bay.
This is one of the most enjoyable places to park your van and wake up to the sunrise over the Pacific. So to everyone looking for a place to put your camper van, tent or have a cabin there are plenty of great choices in the Kaikoura region. An area one will truly enjoy when visiting this part of New Zealand.
